The Town of Whitby Accessibility Advisory Committee is hosting Sports Without Limits, an information-sharing event on inclusion in sports in Whitby. The event will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the Iroquois Park Sports Centre, 500 Victoria Street West, Whitby.
You can take the Sports Without Limits online survey now or complete a hard copy at the Planning Department of the Municipal Building, 575 Rossland Road East. The results of the survey will be used to identify which issues are important to the community and aid in developing topic selections for round table discussions at the annual Accessibility awareness event. This event will provide the community an opportunity to share ideas and contribute feedback surrounding the issue of barriers to participation in sports in Whitby.

Accessibility Working Committee (AWC)
The Accessibility Working Committee was established in the summer of 2003 and comprises staff representatives from each of the Town's departments. The AWC provides input and direction on the Town's Accessibility Plan, and provides support and advice to the Accessibility Advisory Committee (AAC) .
