Whitby-Brooklin Tours start in Grass Park located at 41 Baldwin St, Whitby, ON. Downtown Whitby Tours start at Celebration Square (Whitby Public Library) at 405 Dundas St W, Whitby, ON. Look for the Whitby Food Tour flags upon your arrival. |
Is there parking available? |
Paid parking is available near the starting location for both tours. For the Whitby-Brooklin tour, parking is available in Municipal Lot 9 at 2 Vipond Road. For Downtown Whitby, parking is available in Municipal Lot 7 at 306 Colborne St W. |

Can someone under 19 take part in the tour or accompany me on the tour? |
At this time only participants 19 years or older can participate in the food tours as alcohol will be served. All attendees must agree to the food tour terms and conditions confirming thy are over the legal drinking age during the ticket purchase process. |
How many people are on each tour? |
Tour groups will have a maximum of 20 participants. |
Does the tour include drinks? |
The tours include some crafted beverages as part of the experience. However, it is encouraged that participants bring a reuseable water bottle if they would like to have water throughout the duration of the tour. |
Are there washrooms on the tour? |
Washrooms are available at the starting point of each tours. For the Whitby-Brooklin tour, a portable restroom is available in Grass Park located at 41 Baldwin St, Whitby, ON. For the Downtown Whitby Tour, restrooms are located inside the lobby of the Whitby Public Library at 405 Dundas St W, Whitby. |
Are tours held in bad weather? |
Food tours are held rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather and remember to wear comfortable walking shoes. |
How far is the walk and are there hills? |
The walking distance for the Whitby-Brooklin tour is 1.6km while the walking distance for the Downtown Whitby tour is 2.5km. In both cases, the terrain is level and there are no hills. Remember to wear your comfortable walking shoes. |
