The Town of Whitby is working on a multi-year project to refresh and revitalize historic Brock Street, from the exit at Highway 401 all the way north to the CP rail track near Maple Street.
Earlier this year, residents and businesses were invited to share what matters most to them as part of the future design – thank you to the more than 580 people who provided their feedback.

Working Together To Address Housing Affordability And Supply In Our Community
On June 24, Whitby Town Council unanimously supported the donation of two parcels of land to Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Toronto Area (Habitat GTA). Valued at over $5 million, Habitat will use this land to build approximately 40 affordable housing units on the Hickory Street South Site and on the Dunlop Street East site.
