Station No. 3 is the downtown’s biggest development in decades
Whitby Mayor Elizabeth Roy and Members of Council are celebrating the unveiling of a new condo community in downtown Whitby.
On Friday, Brookfield Residential hosted a ribbon cutting for Station No. 3, a six-storey, mixed-use condominium at the corner of Brock and Colborne Streets.
The project is the biggest development to come to downtown Whitby in more than 30 years.

Whitby, January 31, 2023 – Last night, Whitby Council reaffirmed its support for a new hospital in Durham Region to be located in Whitby.
In January 2022, Lakeridge Health announced that a Site Selection Independent Expert Panel had selected a site in Whitby -- south of Highway 407, west of Highway 412, east of Lake Ridge Road and north of Highway 7/Winchester Road -- as the preferred location for a proposed new Durham hospital.

Bands, buskers, and musicians are invited to apply to the annual Call for Performers for the Town’s 2023 live events including Music in the Park.
The deadline for applications is March 31, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. To be considered, applicants must complete the online application form which includes providing a two to three-sentence biography, promotional video, and/or links to a website or live performance.
The performers will be evaluated by an online jury panel based on a set of criteria.
