Federal Government Begins Restoration of West Whitby Pier in January
Residents are advised of upcoming temporary parking lot and trail closures being implemented as a result of restoration work being undertaken by the Federal Government’s Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada to the West Whitby Pier. Changes to Town’s Special Collections Bulky Item Program to Take Effect January 1

The Town of Whitby would like to advise residents of the following changes to the Town’s Special Collections Bulky Item Program that take effect on Saturday, January 1:
- pickup must now be pre-scheduled online using the Whitby Waste Buddy app which can be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store.
- bulky and metal items will be subject to a $25 collection fee.
