National Indigenous People's Day - June 17, 2025

National Indigenous Peoples Day takes place on June 21 each year. This is a day for all Canadians to recognize and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. To celebrate, the Town of Whitby will be hosting a culture pop up on June 17, 2025 at Rotary Sunrise Lake Park.

Bollywood on the Pier - July 8, 2025 

Get ready for the return of Bollywood on the Pier! Experience dynamic performances of Bhangra, traditional Indian folk dance, and the rhythms of Afro Hip-Hop by Dance Bollywood.  Bounce to the beat of the Dhol Drum while taking in Whitby’s waterfront views. Follow along to a short demonstration and join in the fun! No experience required.
