The Town of Whitby celebrates National Indigenous Peoples Day June 21 each year. This is a day for all Canadians to recognize and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. 

Join us on Tuesday June 17th, 2025 at our Culture Pop up event leading up to National Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration.

Location : Rotary Sunrise Lake Park (North of the Whitby Harbour Lighthouse Pier) at 269 Water Street.
