The deal includes improved benefits, a 9.5% wage increase, and recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation as a paid holiday. The Town is resuming services, with curbside waste pickup restarting, recreation facilities reopening, and phased resumption of programs. The 55+ Recreation Centre, libraries, and upcoming hockey tournaments are also part of the post-strike plans. Winter program registration starts on December 6, and the Whitby Lights the Night Christmas Festival is scheduled for November 24.
