Whitby Economic Development is committed to making our town the "Community of Choice" for businesses, visitors and residents. We aim to create more local jobs within a diverse, sustainable economy, revitalize downtown areas and work to enhance the quality of life for all residents.
Whitby's 2022 to 2026 Economic Development Strategic Plan is is a result of several months of extensive research and community consultation. The document provides and outlines Whitby's economic development team's strategic direction.
