If your proposed building or development project doesn't comply to the Town of Whitby's Zoning By-law, you may need to apply for a Zoning By-law Amendment in order to re-zone the property. Under section 34 of the Planning Act, Town Council has the authority to pass zoning amendments.
Before you start the application process, you need to book a pre-consultation to review your proposal and make sure you have all the necessary documents before you apply.
