Both have fenced perimeters as well as separate fenced areas for small dogs.
The Cochrane Street North off-leash dog park is located within the Heber Down Conservation Area at the south end of Cochrane St., south of Winchester Rd. W. (Highway 7).

The Jeffery Street South off-leash dog park is located at the north end of Jeffery St., north of Victoria St. W., next to the Lynde Shores Conservation Area. This location has free parking for people using the off-leash dog park during its hours of operation.
All dog owners who use Town off-leash dog parks are responsible for knowing and abiding by all local and provincial dog laws. Whitby Animal Services Officers patrol off-leash dog parks and have the authority to ask you to leave off-leash areas at their discretion.

When you use Town off-leash dog parks, you do so at your own risk. As a dog handler, you are legally responsible for the safety, conduct and any injuries or damage caused by dogs under your care. Dog handlers must be 16 years of age or older to use the leash-free dog park.
