The Commemorative Tree and Bench Program is one way for you to commemorate or celebrate a cherished moment, event, person, or uplifting message.

The Program has restarted after a public survey was conducted in the Fall of 2022 followed by a staff recommendation report and updated policy, which was approved by Town Council on April 29, 2024. Trees, benches and plaques will be planted and installed in the spring and fall of each year.  Applications received from September 1 – March 31 will be installed in the spring. Applications received from April 1 – August 31 will be installed in the fall.

NOTE: By selecting one of the Town’s existing benches to dedicate, your request may be completed faster. Mapping of existing benches open for dedication is available by park upon request.
