The Municipal Heritage Register is an official list of properties that have been identified as having, or potentially having, culturally or historically important features. This includes a list of designated and non-designated properties as well as properties located within a Heritage Conservation District.
If you own a property that is designated under the Ontario Heritage Act, you may qualify for a heritage property tax rebate.
The Town has established a formal process for requests to remove properties from the Heritage Register.
