If you're a homeowner in the Town of Whitby and you have a disability and low-income status, you may qualify for one of the tax support programs. These programs can assist you in paying your property taxes.
Download or Contact us for a copy of the Application for Low Income Property Tax Rebate Program. Please submit the form and proof that you qualify by email or send it to:

Applications are due in our office by December 31 each year in order to qualify for that year. Only one rebate will be awarded to each eligible tax roll number per year.
If you participated in this program in the previous year, we'll send you the application forms the next July. Please contact us if you'd like your name placed on our mailing list.

If you participated in this program in the previous year, we'll send you the application forms the next July to prove that you still qualify for the deferral.
This deferral is a lien on your property due and payable in full once you sell your house or transfer ownership.
