You don't need a permit to buy or use consumer fireworks for personal use on the following days:

Display fireworks |
You need a permit to discharge display fireworks during an event. Indoor pyrotechnics/fireworks |

Fireworks can be dangerous if not handled responsibly.
If someone gets burned, run cool water over the wound for three to five minutes and seek medical attention, if necessary.
