The Town of Whitby Animal Services Centre shelters lost animals and helps reunite them with their families.
Contact us and we will arrange to pick up the found pet during our normal business hours. If you find a pet (other than dogs or an injured animal) after hours, keep the animal safe and contact us as soon as we open.
If you find a dog after hours please call our around the clock response line at 905.655.0283 x4.

If you have information about any lost animals, contact us at 905.655.0283

We will also need to verify that your pet has an up-to-date rabies vaccination and identification tag. If the animal is not currently registered with the Town of Whitby, you must purchase or renew your animal licence.
In order to take your pet home, you will be responsible for paying fees to Whitby Animal Services to offset the costs incurred by this service. There is an additional $35 (plus HST) fee for each day your pet stays at the Whitby Animal Services Centre. You will also need to cover the cost of any necessary veterinary services provided to your pet while in our care.
