We offer free collection for a selection of items, making it even easier for you to dispose of unwanted goods responsibly.

• Electronic Waste
  Safely recycle your old electronics and help reduce environmental impact.
• Porcelain Items
  This includes items like old toilets, ensuring they are disposed of properly.

Collection Requirements and Restrictions

To make sure everything goes smoothly, take a moment to review our collection guidelines:

• All waste should be securely bagged, bundled, or boxed.

• Limit your items to 12 per collection, unless you've made additional payments.

• Keep the weight under 20 kg per item.

• For collection, carpets and underlays should not exceed 4 feet in width and must be securely tied.

• Fridges and freezers should be emptied, and doors should be removed or securely duct taped closed.

• Fragile items like toilets should be detached and separated before collection.

• Make sure your waste doesn't obstruct pedestrians or vehicles, and it's not on the road or sidewalk.

• Remove all personal information from e-waste before collection.

Note: Home construction or renovation waste is not accepted in this program.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations can be made up to 48 hours before your scheduled collection day (all cancellations will be subject to a $3.00 admin fee). If you would like to reschedule to avoid cancelation fees, please contact the Operations Centre directly at 905.668.3437. Please note that refunds aren't available for cancellations made less than 48 hours from your scheduled collection, or for waste materials that are not out in time, or scavenged prior to the collection.

What We Don't Collect

Here are some things that our special collections program doesn't include:

1. Construction and renovation waste (like bricks, concrete, drywall)

2. Landscaping waste (like dirt, stones, grass clippings)

3. Automobile parts

4. Compostable materials

5. Tires

6. Hazardous waste material (like batteries, pesticides, paint)
