April is Diversity Month, to celebrate, the Town of Whitby, in partnership with the Town’s Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee (DIAC), invites residents to contribute to A Seat At The Table, a virtual community cookbook celebrating the diverse cultures and traditions that make Whitby a vibrant and inclusive place to live.

All recipes will be featured on the Seat At The Table: Recipes and Stories from Whitby Neighbours Connect Whitby page. The recipe page will remain open for submissions and engagement until the end of the year, allowing residents to continue sharing and exploring new dishes.

How to Participate:

• Submit Your Recipe: Share your favourite dish and the cultural traditions or personal stories behind it at connectwhitby.ca/Recipe.
• Explore and Engage: Browse recipes from your neighbours, leave a like and try a new dish!
• Spread the Word: Share your favourite recipes with family and friends to inspire connection through food.
