Whitby Youth Invited to Apply Online Before the February 4 Deadline

The Town’s 2020 call for Whitby Idol applicants has begun. 

Between now and Tuesday, February 4, Whitby youth ages 12 to 18 are invited to apply (as individuals or groups) for Whitby Idol – the Town’s annual singing competition that showcases the vocal talents of local youth. Interested youth can apply online on our Youth Events page.

Applicants will be auditioned at the Brooklin Community Centre and Library (8 Vipond Rd) on Wednesday, February 12, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Audition time slots will be provided to applicants by the Town following the submission closure on Tuesday, February 4. Select finalists will be invited to perform live at the Whitby Idol Finale on Thursday, March 5 and at various Town events throughout the year.

Whitby Idol is presented by the Whitby Youth Council — youth and adults from local schools, agencies and organizations who work together to address the needs of Whitby youth.
