Cast your vote in-person at any designated voting location October 20 to 24
The next Whitby municipal election takes place on Monday, October 24, 2022, and the Town of Whitby is encouraging residents to get out and vote – on or before Election Day.
Advanced voting takes place from Thursday, October 20, to Sunday, October 23, at three locations in Whitby – the Brooklin Community Centre and Library, Abilities Centre and Town Hall. Advance Vote locations will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
On October 24 (Election Day), eligible voters can vote in-person anywhere, at any one of the 17 designated Voting Day locations (open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.), regardless of where they live within the Town. Eligible voters can find their closest voting location here.
This election, eligible voters will cast their ballots for the positions of Mayor, Regional Councillor, Town Councillor, Regional Chair and School Board Trustee.

You may cast a vote in the Whitby election if, on Election Day, you are:
To vote, you must present a piece of acceptable ID that confirms both your name and qualifying address in the Town (such as a Driver’s Licence or Ontario Health Card). Electors are also reminded to bring their yellow Voter Notification Card with them to make their voting experience more efficient.
