Town begins Phase Three of community engagement on the Downtown Whitby Secondary Plan February 10
As Downtown Whitby grows, the Town of Whitby is reviewing and updating its Downtown Whitby Secondary Plan. This updated plan will guide sustainable land use and development in Downtown Whitby to ensure the area is able to meet the needs of the community today and in the future.
This is the third phase of community engagement on the Downtown Whitby Secondary Plan. Residents are now invited to provide comments on the draft Preferred Concept Plan and proposed policies to guide future land use and development in Downtown Whitby, developed based on information and feedback collected during Phases one and two of the project.
To learn more and provide your ideas as part of Phase three of the update:

This event will be held virtually.
Feedback gathered during Phase Three of the project, and input received at a future statutory Public Meeting, will inform Phase Four, which will be the final recommended Downtown Whitby Secondary Plan presented and brought forward for Council consideration later this year.
