What type of public art do you enjoy or want more of in Whitby? Where do you want to see public art in the community? The Town of Whitby is creating a new Public Art Policy to guide where and what type of public art should be located in our community – and wants to hear from you!

Once complete, the new Public Art Policy will provide a standardized process to support and grow public art projects in Whitby. As a key action item in Whitby’s Culture Plan, the policy will play a role in helping to animate public spaces through public art for the enjoyment of all residents and visitors.

Next Steps

Feedback gathered will be used to inform the development of a proposed Public Art Policy to be presented for Council approval later this year.
