The public meeting to consider a proposed amendment to the Whitby Official Plan (File: OPA-2023-W/01) has been postponed.
The proposed amendment aims to make minor housekeeping and technical updates to certain sections of the Official Plan and various Secondary Plans of the Town of Whitby. This includes the removal of some Secondary Plans that are no longer necessary, the relocation of certain policies within the plan, and refinement of others to ensure alignment and consistency. This amendment will not replace the upcoming Municipal Comprehensive Review of the Whitby Official Plan, which is scheduled to start in early 2024.
