Regional Councillor Mulcahy Elected to Association of Municipalities of Ontario Board

The following statement is being issued on behalf of Whitby Mayor Don Mitchell:

On behalf of the Town and all Members of Council, I would like to congratulate Regional Councillor Rhonda Mulcahy on being elected to the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) Board of Directors, Regional and Single-Tier Caucus.

AMO is a non-profit organization representing almost all of Ontario’s 444 municipal governments. As a member of the Board, Mulcahy will help set policy for the association that supports key municipal priorities.

Thanks to Councillor Mulcahy for bringing her voice to the AMO Board and ensuring that the needs of Whitby and Durham Region will be clearly heard.
