Experience the magic of small-town traditions with family and friends as we celebrate the holiday season in Downtown Brooklin. Join us on November 23 for family-friendly seasonal activities throughout the day at various downtown locations. Farmers' Market vendors and craft show, pancake breakfast, lunch BBQs, crafts, activities, skating, photo ops, Santa sightings, and more.
On Friday, November 22 from 5 to 8:30 p.m., join us as we kick off the festive season and light up Whitby Civic Park with over 200,000 magical lights. Shop the Whitby Farmer's Market At Night with added food vendors for a quick bite. Enjoy live music and seasonal activities including cookie decorating, maple taffy, photo ops, entertainment, a visit from Santa, and more.
The Santa Claus Parade is on Saturday, December 7 starting at 10 a.m. Santa Claus and his friends will be travelling along Brock Street from Manning Road to Trent Street – don’t miss your chance to wave hello as they pass by.
The Town and Owasco Volkswagen are running a “Stuff-a-VW Taos” toy drive to help local families in need. Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the Iroquois Park Sports Centre now through Friday, December 20 and help fill the holiday-themed Taos in the lobby. The Salvation Army will distribute contributions just in time for Christmas.
