The Town of Whitby connected with more than 3,100 residents in the community through a live Telephone Town Hall on Tuesday, February 22.

The hour-long event hosted by Mayor Don Mitchell and supported by Chief Administrative Officer Matthew Gaskell shared updates about Town operations, outlined upcoming plans for Whitby and answered questions from residents.

During the call, residents received answers to a number of questions on topics including road safety and traffic congestion, the planned Whitby Sports Complex and the global climate change emergency.
