The Town of Whitby is entering the final phase of public engagement to develop a new Comprehensive Zoning By-law, which will guide future land use and development across the Town and we want to hear from you.
The new By-law is being created to consolidate Whitby’s three existing Zoning By-laws into a single document that reflects modern zoning practices and aligns with Provincial, Regional, and Town policies.

In the first two phases of engagement, residents provided feedback on key directions for the draft By-law. Now, the Town is seeking additional input on the proposed draft before finalizing it in 2025. Share your thoughts at one of the upcoming Community Open Houses:
Each session will include a presentation from SGL Planning & Design, followed by a Q&A period.
