Community invited to share feedback by June 21
Did we get it right, Whitby? That’s the question the Town is asking the community as it launches its second phase of engagement to help finalize Whitby’s new Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
To date, more than 4,000 people have engaged in the process, sharing feedback on the types of recreational services, infrastructure, and investments they want to see in the future. View an infographic of the survey results.
Based on this feedback, the Town has developed a draft Parks and Recreation Master Plan for additional community input.
Community engagement is a critical part of the Plan’s development. Have your say on the recommendations within the draft Parks and Recreation Master Plan by completing an online survey by June 21.
Feedback collected during this second phase of engagement will be used to finalize Whitby’s new Parks and Recreation Master Plan to be presented to Council for final approval later this year.
Once complete, the Plan will present a vision, as well as long-term goals and objectives, for how the Town will continue to meet the recreational needs of our growing community well into the future. It will be an actionable strategy that addresses:
