Do you know a local star? Are you ready to take the (virtual) stage? The Town’s 2021 call for Whitby Idol applicants has begun! 

Between now and Friday, March 26, Whitby youth ages 12 to 18 are invited to apply (as individuals or groups) for Whitby Idol – a showcase for the vocal talents of local youth. Interested youth can apply online at whitby.ca/youthevents.

Auditions will be held virtually on Wednesday, April 7 and Thursday, April 8. Select finalists will be invited to record their performances so they can be shared during the Whitby Idol Livestream during Youth Week – May 1 to 7, 2021.

Whitby Idol is presented by the Whitby Youth Council — youth and adults from local schools, agencies and organizations who work together to address the needs of Whitby youth.
