The Town of Whitby is committed to having meaningful discussions and reaching a fair and reasonable agreement with CUPE Local 53 Full-time to end the current strike.
Starting Thursday, October 19 at 10 a.m. Whitby residents and businesses who usually receive curbside pickup can drop off their garbage and green bin waste at the McKinney Centre temporary waste drop-off location.

This is in addition to the temporary waste drop-off location the Town opened on Wednesday, October 18 at 9 a.m. at the Iroquois Park Sports Centre parking lot (500 Victoria Street West). Additional drop-off sites will be considered based on community and operational needs.
