As August approaches, have you checked everything you wanted to do off your summer bucket list?
It’s not too late to enjoy summer activities and make memories. Here are a few ideas:

Join us at 7 p.m. at Rotary Centennial Park (800 Brock Street South) for two nights (August 12 and 24) and at 7 p.m. at Grass Park (41 Baldwin Street) for three nights (August 8, 15, and 22). Grab your blankets, lawn chairs, and popcorn, and join us for an unforgettable evening under the stars. Join us on August 9 for Kung Fu Panda 4 and August 30 for Wish. Movies are shown on a large, outdoor screen with concert-quality sound at Whitby Civic Park starting at dusk. For more information, visit whitby.ca/MoviesInThePark.
Come dance in an open-air style event on the pier near Rotary Sunrise Lake Park on August 20, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Be treated to a professional tango performance by Tango Soul and take in a short lesson accompanied by the live music of the Paul Grecco Trio.
